The Crux:π
It is a great collection of short stories. Each story is set up with unique characters and story line where each one of them depicts the true sense of life.
1. A lot like love: Two people Mandar & Nihar who were once lived for each other. But got separated. And years later when they meet with the same amount of feelings but destiny had some other plans for them.
2.Second Chance: about undestined love but with all together different experience showing that living together will not necessarily be easy. This story also presents that how somehow past relations have an effect on someone even if they trying to move on.
3.Bestseller: favourite among these stories. About an orphan boy with keen interest in writing the journey of his book becoming a bestseller. Not giving up even in the toughest tests of time is a moral that we get to learn in this short story.
4.The Visit: about the attachment to a belonging that reminds us of someone even if they are no more, those things are of utmost importance as it will keep the memories alive.
5.The Black idol - story has the essence of pure humanity in it. A story of a doctor who realises that his profession is for everybody, And so even when it comes to the matter of his own life.
6.What was not said - about a boy dealing with his state of melancholy, not ready to accept his stepmother. But slowly and steadily his heart melts and he gets to see that maybe she was different than what he had opinioned of her.

My 2 Cents: The cover of the book looks unique in colour which attracted me so much. Each story is written beautifully. All the stories keeps your mind engaged. some stories are too emotional and realistic. The author has written something about positivity that's going in the lockdown as it is her debut writing. The writing style is simple & lucid. I will recommend it to all short story readers, this will be a perfect read for them.
