👉The Crux:-
✨
🔸 Ambapali is an amazingly written book by Tanushree Podder. This is a story about a girl called Ambapali. It starts with Ambapali on her deathbed and Bhikkhuni serving and looking after her.
✨
🔸 Then the story is taken back to Amba's young tender age of sixteen when one fateful evening when Ambapali with her friends Priyamvada, Urmimala and Satyakirti went to see the 'Vasant Utsav' which was a kind of festival that happened during the ancient days in every kingdom to select a suitable Court dancer called Raj Nartaki.
✨
🔹During that day Ambapali happened to see her guru Suvarnasena who was also a retired Raj Nartaki. Amba was tricked by Suvarnasena to perform on the Vasant Utsav which changed her fate and how things are changing in her life after that is the remaining story with many twists. Then how she becomes the Raj Nartaki in the court of Vaishali and the forced to become a Nagarvadhu. Grab this to know more about it.

👉My two cents:-
✨
🔸 Ambapali is an engaging and engrossing read which elaborates on the story from the past ancient era. The language is simple and lucid. The narration is amazing. I loved the way all the characters are developed and how the story has been elaborated. This book saved me from my reading slump after some months of struggle which I faced for book reading.
✨
🔹I enjoyed the book thoroughly and it hooked me till the very end. The book never loses its pace and races to the end but that ending turns me emotional. It's a great read one should never miss it. Overall, this is a highly recommended book for all historical fiction readers.
