Clammy Hands is a dynamic collection of 7 stories that takes the readers on a journey to different parts of the country like Bombay, Kolkata, Tripura etc. All the stories are framed with a unique idea that makes them different from each other. Ratnadip Acharya ‘s seven stories even though are different from each other yet they are connected  with an invisible thread. The message of morality that the author delivers through his eerie stories makes this book intriguing and a great read. The paranormal aspect that every story has is not very terrifying rather uncannily they give reassurance of delivery of Justice. The author perfectly captures human psychology and human desire in a very creative format. The first story of this book that shows a strange story of a hand which has a life enveloped within itself was really well done by the author. In a minute way the author showed the feeling of regret, suffering and human mind which becomes a deciding factor in many situations of our life.

The simplicity in which the stories are written yet the message that all of them impart definitely made me astonished as a reader. This book has drama, horror, betrayal, cruelty, and mystery that can only be unravelled while reading this amazing book. The language used in this book is simple and lucid. The narration also perfectly fits the stories. "The Clammy Hands in The Dark Nights" is an amazing book to immerse. I think people going through a reading slump will have a great time reading this book. As it is easy to read and very intriguing at the same time.
