Dadi, Dantkatha, and the Djinns is an intriguing read by Avanti Sopory. This book is a collection of stories that happened in and around the 'Heaven on Earth,' Kashmir. It's all about the ancient secrets of Kashmir's mysticals of Djinns that wander around the valley. There are 27 such tales of fairies, kings, talking animals, villagers, and Djinns that captivate the children. A few of the stories that I personally like are Brahma Kanya, Heemal and Naagirai, Lalla Ded, Make No Haste, Who Was Right, How to Steal a Shoe, Gagur and Gagri, Prince Harsha and Luddha, and a few others. If you want to know more about this and read stories about Kashmir, then grasp it soon.

My Two Cents:- 💫

The book is filled with so many unique stories from folktales, which keeps the readers engaged till the very end. The plot and narration are perfect with some sketches. Author has done a great work. It is filled with wisdom and life lessons. If you enjoy folklore, mysticism, imagination, clever talking animals, and culture, then this will be the book that satisfies you. This is an amazing read for the young kids. My daughter grasped and finished reading it. Go grab it, I highly recommend this read for all ages.
